Last Lecture for 2017 - and a Peek at the Spring 2018 Series!

Dr. Charles Pentland

Louis Delvoie Introducing Dr. Pentland

Dr. Charles Pentland, from Queen's University's Centre for International and Defence Policy, gave a fine presentation at Later Life Learning Belleville's final lecture of the current series today. His topic was "Canada: In a New World Order," the fifth lecture in our "Canada at 150" series. Dr. Pentland's lecture ranged knowledgeably from the corridors of power in Ottawa to the rising power of China as it fills the vacuum left by the receding influence of the United States.

Dr. Pentland and Later Life Learning's dear friend, Louis Delvoie, worked together to create the "Canada at 150" lecture series - many thanks to both of them!
